What do you do at TwinFitness?

I wear many hats as a personal trainer, group instructor with glute focus specialty, and Elite Coaching coach.

What influenced you to become a trainer?

I was a high school P.E. teacher for 10 years and realized that I could make a greater impact on helping families by guiding the parents that are buying the groceries for the house.

What special elements, skills, or talents do you bring to TwinFitness clients?

I have 15 years of experience in the fitness industry and I have competed in 18 NPC competitions in 6 different states. I also have been through a major weight loss journey of my own after having kids. With all of these personal experiences I feel that I add expertise and empathy in these areas.

Why do you enjoy working at TwinFitness?

I enjoy the culture, community and this amazing group of empowering women!

What is your most important accomplishment?

Aside from the obvious of birthing two amazing children and being blessed with a wonderful supportive husband, I would have to say creating the NPC Fort Wayne Flex Bodybuilding, Physique, Figure & Bikini Championships. I am very passionate about the sport and feel extremely fortunate to have such an awesome opportunity to help athletes develop and display their hard work. It’s an amazing journey to be a part of as I feel it changes the person inside and out in incredible ways.

Where were you born and raised?

Fort Wayne, Indiana

What is your spirit animal?

Where and when was the most amazing sunset you have ever seen?

Jamaica when my husband proposed to me.

What trend from your childhood do you wish would come back?

Pogo ball.

Who would be the best person to be stuck in an elevator with?

My hubby, Kevin.

Time freezes for everyone but you for one day. What do you do?

I would go to Universal Studio and ride all of the rides and go straight to the front of the line!

What is the best way to stay motivated and complete goals?

I am motivated by competition. Doesn’t matter if it’s a bikini competition, road race, softball game or volleyball game; I will train hard and stay focused with an end goal in mind. If I have a competition date it really helps me set small goals along the way and keeps me organized.

What is the most comfortable piece of clothing you own?

I love my sweat pants!!

I am motivated by competition; I will train hard and stay focused with an end goal in mind.
