What do you do at TwinFitness?

I am a Personal Trainer and also manage our monthly newsletters.

What influenced you to become a trainer?

I started training in 2001 but didn’t really get serious about it until 2010. In 2010 I quit my regular 9-5 job at Sprint and starting working in the fitness industry part time to allow flexibility with raising my son, and I love it!

What special elements, skills, or talents do you bring to TwinFitness clients?

I really enjoy reading and researching the latest trends in fitness and nutrition. I try to stay up-to-date and current so I can help answer questions and filter through the fads to keep clients on the right path.

Why do you enjoy working at TwinFitness?

I enjoy being a part of a female team. Working at Twin Fitness is like an instant family of sisters!

What is your most important accomplishment?

My greatest accomplishment is being a mother. Teaching and guiding my son is an honor and a privilege.

Where were you born and raised?

I was born in Concordia KS. I have lived in Kansas my entire life.

What is your spirit animal?

My spirit animal is a deer: I am highly sensitive and have a strong intuition. I have the power to deal with challenges with grace. I master the art of being both determined and gentle in my approach.

Where and when was the most amazing sunset you have ever seen?

Sunsets are great but I prefer the sun rise. I love seeing the sun rise over the mountains with a good cup of coffee.

What trend from your childhood do you wish would come back?

Fanny Packs! So functional yet so unattractive, but I love them dearly.

Who would be the best person to be stuck in an elevator with?

If I got stuck in an elevator I hope it’s with MacGyver so he can get me out!

What is the best way to stay motivated and complete goals?

The best way for me to stay motivated is to have a “prize” or an end goal of something I am looking forward to.

What is the most comfortable piece of clothing you own?

I love cushioned socks with arch support. It’s like a hug around my foot.

I really enjoy reading and researching the latest trends in fitness and nutrition. I try to stay up-to-date and current so I can help answer questions and filter through the fads to keep clients on the right path.
