What do you do at TwinFitness?

I am a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Coordinator. I provide our group exercise classes with new ideas and programming.

What influenced you to become a trainer?

I have always loved being active, from rock climbing in Colorado to running back home in Iowa and I love being around and helping people and Personal training combines both!

What special elements, skills, or talents do you bring to TwinFitness clients?

I love to work hard, so I always make sure my clients and classes leave with a killer workout!

What is your most important accomplishment?

My most important accomplishment that I try to continue to strive towards is remembering that life is short, and to not take things for granted. Always remember to enjoy good food, friends, family, and don’t get to caught up in the small stuff.

Where were you born and raised?

Decorah, Iowa

What is your spirit animal?

A mermaid: graceful, charming, and persuasive.

Where and when was the most amazing sunset you have ever seen?

Watching the sunset over Mount Princeton in Buena Vista, Colorado from the rafting outpost I worked at for three summers.

What trend from your childhood do you wish would come back?

Marykate and Ashley everything!!!! (I am a twin and I grew up watching and playing Mary Kate and Ashley.)

Who would be the best person to be stuck in an elevator with?

My twin sister, Sierra.

Time freezes for everyone but you for one day. What do you do?

I would probably try and figure out how to unfreeze time, I like being around people and I would probably get really lonely by myself.

What is the best way to stay motivated and complete goals?

By having an accountability partner! My twin sister, Sierra and I are very competitive with each other and even though she lives in Colorado now we are always comparing workouts we did, or talking about what runs we are going to sign up for next!

What is the most comfortable piece of clothing you own?

The most comfortable piece of clothing I “kinda” own is my boyfriend’s over-sized blue KU sweatshirt (he let me borrow it once and I never gave it back). Rock Chalk!!!

I love to work hard, so I always make sure my clients and classes leave with a killer workout!
