Tanya has a Bachelor’s of Science in Education and is licensed in State of Kansas to teach English and Spanish. In addition, Tanya is an ACE certified personal trainer.

What do you do at TwinFitness?

I work offsite as an online trainer and an Elite Coaching Coach. I also write blogs, emails, newsletters & other written points of interest for TwinFitness.

What influenced you to become a trainer?

I wanted to help others become healthier. As a young adult I suffered an eating disorder. My experience of suffering, along with my journey to healing, inspires me daily to use my experience to help others. Whether clients are struggling to lose 5 pounds, or if they are going through the degree of helplessness I experienced, I have a desire to help them succeed!

What special elements, skills, or talents do you bring to TwinFitness clients?

My passion for health & fitness, along with my love for people, help me serve my clients intently. As I mentioned above, my experience with an eating disorder gives me additional insight while working with clients.  As a competitor I bring experience and empathy to my EC clients.   My love for writing, and skills in language usage, work together to help me empower all of our clients through written materials we offer.

Why do you enjoy working at TwinFitness?

The atmosphere is very positive! My co-workers are uplifting, helpful and even though I work offsite they are inclusive and welcoming. The twins are amazing; I couldn’t ask to work for better people than Kristie & Michelle!

What is your most important accomplishment?

My family!  My husband and I have been married 20 years & we are raising 3 wonderful daughters.

Where were you born and raised?

Rural Southeast Kansas – Cherryvale, KS

Time freezes for everyone but you for one day. What do you do?

Relax / drink coffee, read, lounge poolside!  As a very busy mom and wife I stay so preoccupied taking care of everyone else, I would take that day to replenish myself!

What is the best way to stay motivated and complete goals?

Keep YOUR personal motivation in front of you at all times. This is different for everyone.  You have to find what really drives you & channel it to do just that!
